Saltator orenocensis is a species in the Saltator genus. It is commonly known as Orinoco Saltator, Orinocan saltator This name is accepted name for the species in the family Thraupidae subfamily Saltatorinae, . This species is found in found in Venezuela in areas west, north, and upon the Orinoco River region and to the Caribbean coast; also border regions in adjacent northeast Colombia.
